Alcohol and certain drug use -These can also cause liver enzymes to elevate, putting a large amount of stress on the liver.
Medications - some people may have to take a lot of pills and shots. While these are intended to help them get better, they can also put a lot of stress on their liver. If the liver is really stressed, it will not allow the body to absorb these drugs properly.
